 Supply Kits

I suggest adding (for Imperials/Republic PC's) kits which you receive once a reset from your faction quartermaster. These would essentially restock some basic supplies. DM's could also restock the kit after an event. Higher ranked characters receive more in their kit, perhaps even pay to go along with it, while new characters receive the bare basics, or even nothing at all. All items in the kit should be marked plot so that they cannot be sold to merchants.

-Assault Specialist: Grenades, Personal Shield Generator
-Melee Specialist: Bacta vials, stimulants (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution)
-Medical Specialist: Healer's Kits, Adrenaline
-Tech Specialists: Auto-turrets, repair kits, grenades, rocket launcher
-Pilot Specialist: Single use summon which will make a basic ship follow you around in space as a henchman.

I like the idea there, special if it also a credit payment for the service of being in the army/navy.

The items make sense to me although ..there might be a tiny problem in it each reset, imagine if a character had not used the supplies then after a few reset get like 5 shield generator or rocket laucher that weight down and they cant drop it because it plot flagged lol.

Overall i find the idea rather good.

I would consider this idea. And to address star's concern, it would be use it or lose. Unused kits would not accumulate.

Yes that a good idea supply kits. As P said It can be scripted, On login of new reset all old items lost replaced with new. No over stock issue

Possibly puting the kit container have a 100% weight reduction would help, especially with the tech kit as rocket launchers are damn heavy T_T

Rocket launchers only weigh 0.5lb, I thought? The ammo weighs 5.5lb, though.. I may be mistaken but I think the only thing on that list that would pose a problem for encumbrance would be the grenades.
