This is Captain Anders. Rebel personnel are to be advised of a robbery under hostage circumstances which occurred outside of our outpost on Cerea earlier today. A young woman identified as Tarah was taken at gunpoint to extract a sum of several hundred thousand credits from our old Lieutenant Tran Illimar. She was injured in the altercation, but not severely.

The suspect was identified by our men as armed with a blaster pistol and wearing golden Mandalorian style armor. His image was captured by several surveillance cameras. His face is concealed in the images captured, however the assailant is described as having short brown hair and wearing an eyepatch.

This is a serious offense committed in close proximity to civilians, and it is expected that our personnel will treat it as such. This case is volatile, however, given our tentative jurisdiction over Cerea as well as the involvement of a former officer. Explosives were placed close to civilian bystanders at some point during the altercation, which, combined with the violent nature of the crime, will no doubt make it a controversy on Cerea. It is assumed that the assailant has left the system, but not confirmed as of yet. I request any personnel with information on the suspect to present it to me or another ranking officer as it becomes available. The investigation into this crime and any others committed by the suspect is currently underway.
