In the news today, it appears that the disease responsible for Rakghouls was unleashed inside a mining vessel in mid-transit to its operations site. The death toll was catastrophic, and only a single human, one Isaac Clarke, escaped the devastation with his life. However as Isaac made his way to a civilized a planet, a Rakghoul that had hidden himself within his shuttle attacked him. Isaac's ship is currently in Imperial Quarantine, and the fate of its two inhabitants is unknown as of yet. Meanwhile, this footage was recovered from the mining vessel's security computers:

I especially like it because it even takes a lot of the same nature of the creatures in Dead Space. Just like those creatures, Rakghouls turn others into more Rakghouls. lmao.
