After the failed attempt to capture or take out revy on Rhen var Daniel had sent a holo transmission to his father accusing revy of kidnapping him, and trying to frame him as a rebel. Daniel awaited his left hand still cuffed to his left ankle, wounded awaiting at the mercy of his father.

During the wait Daniel lost consciousness and woke up to find himself back in his parent's home on corsucant, under house arrest. Unable to know if his plan had helped his friends or not Daniel awaited his fate. Would his father do as Daniel hoped and tried to act as thought revy had kidnapped Daniel in order to protect his career and name? Daniel sat in the corner, feeling more alone than ever before, uncertain and without a blaster to give him even an illusion of security.

When Lieutenant Kazgen was informed of this event by a Wookie, he immediately got Pat Riley involved. They had limited knowledge of what had happened, only that the key to unlocking Smith's location was to find an Imperial Corporal by the name of Revy. It was Spec Ops' time to shine. They were tasked with finding Revy, and arresting her. The investigation of Daniel's whereabouts were headed by Kazgen, although, the seemingly impossible task would take weeks, months, maybe even years, with Spec Ops spread as thinly as they were.

With no idea where Daniel could be, and no idea what had happened after the wookie was dismissed from Rhen Var, the odds were not in the rebel's favour.

But Kazgen was determined to find him.

And Spec Ops were determined to find Revy.

Meanwhile on corsucant Daniel sat next to the window in a room of his parents house, his father refusing to let him free until he got his 'upstart' notion out of his head and became a proper citizen.
