Terack left Naboo on the Midnight Wolf, his Firespray-31 Transport and set a course for Sullust.
"Terack Grump Reporting. Setting a course for Sullust." he said over the radio as a status update. He flew along through space, when all of a sudden his ship began shaking slightly. A red light on the console started flashing.
"Seems I'm having some engine trouble." he said through the radio. "Should only take a moment to work out, hopefully." The ship began to slow down, and began to shake more. Then a loud snap, as the console began to spark. The alarm in his ship began to ring. "Ack...system malfuntioning..." Another loud snap as the console sparked again.
"I've lost lateral controls." It was then that he noticed he was heading right for a planet.
"On collision course with an unknown planet...whole system malfunction! Bracing for impact!" The ship roared into the atmosphere of the heavily hazed planet. "Damnit! Scopes are dead! Can't tell what's going on! Need assistance!"
He seemed to yell into the radio as he braced for impact.
The ship then came down and crashed into a soft piece of land, luckily. Terack leaped out of the cockpit and looked around the swamp covered planet. He then tried his radio again. "Requesting assistance. This is Terack Grump. I've crashed landed on a planet of unknown origin. Over." He listened, but there was nothing but static coming through. "Terack Grump, requesting assistance! Over!" ....nothing.
He sighed and looked around again. "Guess the radio's not working here...where am I?" He looked over at his crashed ship. "Well...not going to get anywhere by standing around. I can only hope for a rescue..." He walked over to his ship, popped open the compartment inside, and took out his gear and began a trek off into the marshes.
He came across a lot of wildlife about the planet, but nothing that seemed any harm, from what he saw. He then spotted light through the fog, and headed towards it. He came across a campfire next to a small hut. "Hello? Is anyone there?" He looked about, but there seemed to be no sign of any sentient life. It was then that a strange feeling gripped him. The feeling of being watched from all over.
"Anyone?" Still no answer. He then decided to just take a seat on a log next to the fire and wait. It wasn't long later that he heard the faint sound of a ship roaring a little ways away, but couldn't make out what it actually was, so he left it be, and stayed where he was. It was a few moments before he heard a voice yelling through the fog. "Grump?! Where are you?!" Terack turned quickly and looked about, walking in the direction of the voice. "Hello?!" He shouted out. A few moments later, he met up with Lieutenant Kazgen. "Grump! Are you alright?"
He asked. "Sir! Yeah. I'm alright. The ship didn't crash all that hard...but the engines are dead and the controls are fried." Kazgen looked at him a moment and nodded. "My ship is pretty beat up, and it landed on it's side. But hopefully we can get it back right side up." He then noticed the hut. "A hut?" Terack nodded. "Yes,sir. Probably belonging to a lifeform here. No one's around, though." Kazgen approached the hut and tried to open the door. He pushed and pulled, but with to no avail. "Guess it's locked. However, I'm no good with manual style locks like that. Only security panels." Kazgen then smacked it hard with his vibroblade. It had absolutely no effect on the seemingly wooden door.
"What the heck?..." Terack said and raised his gun at the door. He fired, the blast bouncing off the door, just barely missing them. "What the hell's this thing made of?" Kazgen said. "Well...in any case, we should get moving back to my ship." Terack nodded and they set out into the fog. They stumbled upon Terack's crashed ship. "This your ship, Grump?" Terack nodded. "Yes, sir. My poor Midnight Wolf..." Kazgen continued on. "Just a ship. Lets keep moving."
After a bit of walking, they stumbled upon a very tall cliff. "Even with my wookie climbing ability, there's no way I'm climbing that." Kazgen seemed not to hear him as he approached a small opening in the wall. Terack approached as well, and the strange presence seemed to get stronger there. "Better not risk it." Kazgen said as he continued around the cliff. After a few more moments, they came across a much larger opening, leading into a cave. The presence was extremely strong here. "I'd hate to say it, but this place gives me the heebies." Kazgen said as he turned around and began walking in a different direction.
A while later, they came across Kazgen's A-Wing on it's side in the swamp. Kazgen opened up a compartment and pulled out a tough rope and tied it to the ship. "Such a strange presence here, ever since I arrived...like...the feeling of being watched, all the time..." Kazgen tossed the rope to Terack. "Don't worry about it. Here. YOu pull, I'll push."
After a bit of effort on their parts, the ship was right side up again. "Alright Grump. Get in." Terack looked at him a moment. "You sure this thing can hold two people...one of them being a wookie?" Kazgen shrugged. "It can now. Now get in." Terack hopped into the A-Wing, before Kazgen got in, pretty much sitting in Terack's lap to be able to fit. They took off and headed for the Massassi Station.
After they arrived, Kazgen popped himself out of the ship and rolled on the ground. "That....is the last time I ride an A-Wing with a wookie." Terack jumped out of the vehicle and held back a chuckle at the comment. "We'll be sure to get you a new ship. Seeing as what happened at the planet, it wouldn't be wise to send repair crews. Get you a ship and name it the Midday Dove II...or whatever your ship's name was." Terack grinned beneath his helmet. "The Midnight Wolf II. Has a ring to it." Kazgen headed off into the base. "I'll check about that now."
