Bounty Hunting

As a Bounty Hunter, you have many different options set ahead of you. For every risk you take in chasing down a live target, the more reward you can reap for a good well done. We've tried to simulate this as best as possible in two different systems; NPC Bounty Hunting and PC Bounty Hunting.

NPC Bounty Hunting
Any knowledgable person of questionable morales would know fully well that Jabba the Hutt has his slimy fingers fully into the depths of every dark corner of the Galaxy. Hunting live darks, an unsavory deed usually frowned upon by modern civilization, is no exception.

If you wish to find employment, you should seek out Bib Fortuna in Jabba's Palace, who often has a few contracts laying around for evasive targets. He can provide you their name, profession and last known coordinates, the rest of the tracking is left up to you. The difficulty and reward of the target is based on your current level, giving you more of a fighting chance if you stick to somebody of your own caliber. Once confronted, you can intimidate, bluff or persuade your target into giving him up alive for a larger reward. Or blast him, whatever you decide.

PC Bounty Hunting
This function is based around the interactions between players, but we've done us best to support it. The Galatic HoloNet offers a function to post wanted ads for criminals, or just somebody who has irked you. Once posted, a Bounty Hunter may pick up the contract by contacting the original poster and then presuing the target. If you've had a 'talk 'and the target wishes not to come along peacefully, you can take the ear of the mark as proof of the deed. The price for these trophies, or for the live return of the target should be posted or discussed before the transactions are made.

Remember, watch your back when you step into those dark alleys for the hand-off.
