Is there anymore planned development sometime in any future regardless of how distant for these classes? I know the Officer class has that buff which gets rather epic at 30..but as far as I can tell it has no other advantages. The Noble class, whee singing in the rain. Not really all that great by itself and underpwoered due to the AB/AC progression unless multiclassed. And the Fringer class can summon a pet and that's all as far as I can tell. Fringer = NWN Druid, one of the two main pluses for playing Druid was the shapeshifting(I Understand shifting is being developed in the form of a DM race and that's fine) the second Wisdom'based casting. Making it a prime spot/listen caster class. The wildshape feat was removed(understandably so)with nothing to replace it and Fringer's get no spells either. Making them from everyone I've talked too myself included a wasted class. So again just wondering if any further development is planned at any point?

| Well, as I recall the development of new classes are in store for us. I do not know, but I assume these new classes might be considered "Epic" version of the base classes. Along with these classes, some others are being fixed up. So who knows what might be in store for us: D _________________ Mal: "Now think real hard. You been bird-dogging this township a while now. | I had a high level Fringer, they do kinda suck. I a lot of wisdom in the thought they'd use something wisdom based. XD _________________ Player of, Obsqu Odai - Scumbag and Swordsman. Falzak Vir'ak - Scolar, Sage and Galactic Historian.

Hey, MD [Or another DM], can you maybe "leak" what some of the classes are? I've heard rumours of Echani Weaponmaster and Industial Scientist.. I'm not sure about the second, but the first came from a few sources. Can ya spill any more for us? _________________ "Let this be your first lesson. I have no love for you or your people. Not quite; the two you're thinking of is one - the Teras Kasi's new class feat, which is getting pretty revamped; as for that specific mix-up, you can access an Echani fighting form but theres no Echani class. "Industrial Scientist?" More like Chief Engineer. :3

I'm eager to see what they've come up with for scout, this all seems kinda like SWG progression in a way, I think it's really cool.. Maybe they'll have 'Ranger' for Scout.. With wicked badass camo, and the ability to mask their scent.. Would be cool. I'm excited for the new classes though, for sure.

I can recommend for. fringer is a ridiculous skill emphasis at the moment . that makes them have the potential for the highest skill checks. but they'd have a very small selection of skills to actually take . It would be a pain to make fringer work like the actual fringer i assume. I'd also say it would need spells that give it something like a beastmaster like ability so they can buff their companion alot like a druid would to the point the companion is a walking killing machine. Fringers would also have access to pilot and the craft skills i believe meaning they also are decent crafters. just not as good as tech specs. Nobles... well... Nobles don't need gold actually if we treated it like the pnp game it would be likely they could get 1k gold per noble level per reset. This is explained due to family connections. Nobles thanks to entertain are masters of RP skill checks and have access to those skills as well. although i would also recommend they gain the bard/cleric spells that increase AB dmg skills temp hp and such and call it inspiration-like abilities. Also if officer has the add charisma to saves. it doesn't need much more it makes them very good with that if they don't i think it would be wise to let them keep that. of course i would recommend officers get defensive awareness at a certain point that or elite trooper. Those are really my only suggestions for those.

Might I also recommend that tech specialists get the same skill point bonus as scoundrels (rogues)? Without spells, the only benefits of the tech specialist are the 'robot' companion and the large number of class skills, but even with a very high focus on intelligence the tech specialist simply doesn't have enough skill points to take advantage of this multitude of class skills. You will instead see people skill dump starting as scoundrels until banking enough skillpoints to take advantage of the class skills of the tech specialist. The primary focus of creating a scoundrel would better be hide, move silently, and the sneak attacks. Tech specialist focus would ideally be number of skill points and class skills.
