Whats the best technician droid to use for the following levels?:

2-5: ?

5-10: ?

FYI, the Tech Specialist droids will most likely be completely redone and expanded (read: more choices) in the relatively near future.

Edit: But yeah, for right now the battle droid is the only real choice unless you chose the Tech Specialist for RP purposes. Remember that the Tech Specialists are the only characters that can RP two for one...

Well, BD's and Astromeches then ^^ ((Character im using flies an N-1 Starfighter, it -does- have an astromech socket so it would make sense. That and shes a technological genius, she'd easily be able to fix up scrap battle-droids.))

the battle driod seems to have the carry over from the panter pet problem thoguh... yesterday on the server my battle droid pet killed me about 4 times.. I actually liked the sentry droid quite a bit more, followed up by the assassin droid. It's good to hear that there may be some more variety in the future

has anyone esle noticed an issue with the droids spawning unarmed? having a sentry droid fly up and crash into enemies for 1 point of damage was pretty anti climactic.

I've noticed my droids sometimes not using their ranged weapons when spawning in...Though in each of those situations I was already in combat and summoning another one. I think what's happening is it's still got it's blaster, but the combat round is in progress so it doesn't equip it, it just goes melee. As for my droids killing me, that only seems to happen when I was using the defensive field feat, since I stopped using it haven't had em attack me yet.
