alright this is getting extremely annoying. I was fighting at a planetary battle just now... two PCs were trying to cap it. one of our people was there and they got beat down while he/she was afk to get food or drink or whatnot. I ended up having to try and solo fight. I attacked one of them and he got knocked down to badly wounded. then i changed gears and shot at the other, got him down to injured. i was at injured. the tougher one who was at badly injured full healed and came back at me for sneaks. and it was impossible to win because of that.

Heal pots need to barred from PvP and planetary captures entirely because of things like this. unless you are running away to leave and don't wanna get a death penalty there isn't a very good reason to them in planetary battles.

I may sound like I'm just bitching but I'm not. full heal pots are grossly overpowered for PvP because it would boil down to whoever could use them most or the fastest. i was also spammed with three cryobanns in the fight, i rolled lucky saves on 2 of them. was almost safe but one of them got me before I could flee. I'm very pissed off by this as many can tell.

First:
That person that got beat down while he was semi-afk was beat down because he was over there calling for backup. He said he was afk, I assumed when he started chatting again that he was back. Him being killed has nothing to do with this topic.

Second:
Nothing stops you from full healing, perhaps you should save up and spend your credits on healing potions as I did. I am far from unbeatable, if you focus your fire on me, hit me with a KD (I have a horribly low discipline), disarm me, use called shot: leg, or use any other means of disabling me or weakening me, it will probably work. These full heals are just another thing in my arsenal which I use (I limit it to twice per planetary invasion, to be fair) when you fail to kill me quick enough. It is entirely possible to win.

Third:
If you don't want to get a death penalty... Don't assist in planetary battles, it's as simple as that.

Fourth:
You are 'just bitching', you bitch at me every time I do anything that gives me an advantage over you, while you completely ignore the things you do that give you advantages over me. For instance, you have that nice improved invisibility, you have the ability to run from me easier than I can run from you (use that tactic, Aurum, it works well against meleers like me), many of your CryoBan grenades also worked well against me. I do not complain about them, unlike you, I view them as a challenge and accept when I lose, and just work harder the next time. For instance, rather than whining about improved invisibility, I got blindfight, rather than whining about Cryos, I improved my saves, rather than whining about sneak attacks, I increased my AC, Spot, and Listen, so as not to be caught off guard or hit so often.

I will ask you here, and state once again so that everyone knows... If you start bitching at me after PvP, or complaining about the way I play the game, if you accuse me of metagaming, cheating, or anything else of the like, you are simply going on my ignore list. If you want to accuse me of that, inform the DM's of it, I could care less, because I don't cheat or metagame, and I follow all the rules. I am tired of peole yelling at me after I beat them, I will not take it anymore. I came here to have fun on this server, and I do try to make it fun for other people, I expect the same in return.

My intention was never to create a thread to have people point fingers at anyone, but it seems that cannot be done, very well. As the creator of this thread, I am requesting moderator assistance, if any moderator can look around this thread and delete messages that aim to simply flame around or any message that is completely out of topic, it would be greatly appreciated. I see people that type lies in this thread, I will not point at anyone, but am requesting you guys to kindly send yourselves messages privately (the forums do give that possibility, to send PMs!) or any other private means that you have,

I don't really feel like seeing a thread going bad because of people that hate eachother, this topic was brought up since it is an issue that has been seen a 'very long time ago' and not just something that happenned only once and twice.

You want my thoughts? I started reading the posts in this thread and then realized that I would explode in a fiery ball of rage if I finished it. As far as I am concerned, the healer has the ability to ressurect and heal, that is where your main source of restoration should be - either way, we're going to add rules regarding limitations to pot usage in events / PvP and you all know my stance on syringes mid-combat.

Thank you MD.. *see above post* there have been a few times during PvP situations where I ran around like a chicken with my head cut of trying to heal people who refused to come find the healer. Why? Because they had those full heal potions. So, I run into combat thinking my companions are about to die, getting my ass shot for ... nothing.

Yeah, felt a little stupid and alot worthless. More liability than help.

My AC is good, but hardly capable of keeping me alive and my AB is completely laughable. My only reason for being on the battleground is to keep my compatriots alive. If everybody is running around with heal pots I may as well stay back on base and emote treating space sickness.
