Horus looked through the scope targeted at Tran Illimar - possibly the richest man in the Galaxy. Tran was at a beach on Corellia, and Horus had been tracking his movements for several days. He was accompanied by an extremely childish woman - One who built sand castles and skipped stones over water. Horus did not know who this woman was... probably Tran's daughter; she was far too young to be his wife... But, as Horus moved closer, so they were within earshot, she called him by his first name, Tran, so he doubted it. Maybe she was one of Tran's firend's daughters.

Horus' goal was to rob Tran. At first, he considered shooting Tran, and stealing his credits when he was dead... But he decided against that. He had earlier met Tran and the girl in the cantina on Tatooine, and had since been forming a plan that would give him riches... And he needed riches. He had flown ahead of them to a beach by Coronet city - Which Tran had mentioned taking her earlier. So, he set up there, and waited, and waited. He waited hours until they arrived. Then, after building sand castles and skipping stones on the surf, they left. He was close enough to hear Tran say "Cerea".. And he had planted a tracking device on the girl's ship, anyway.

He flew a few minutes behind them, heading for Cerea, as they were. He took a different route, and ended up beating them, anyway. He hid on the landing bay, waiting for them. Finally, they landed. The Gold Mandalorian followed a few dozen metres behind. They walked for half an hour before they reached their destination... A small grove of trees by a farmhouse. Tran sat while the girl - Who Horus had learnt her name was Tarah - Climbed a tree... She was like a ten year old... After they chatted for a little while, the branch Tarah was sitting on snapped. Holding back a burst of laughter, Horus watched Tran dive from his sitting position, and catch her.

Tran deemed the area unsafe, and they both took off. Horus followed them, and, when they reached Outsider Citadel, Horus decided he couldn't risk waiting. He grabbed the girl and waited till Tran was about a dozen metres ahead.

"Don't move Tran!" Horus said, holding Tarah in a choke-hold, gun to her head. "Drop all your credits on the floor, and back away!" To Horus' surprise, Tran did exactly this, dropping his credits and some other junk in his pockets.

Expecting a trap, Horus moved towards the pile of credits and other mess. "Let her go, mandalorian! You have your gold!" Tran said in desperation.

Horus smiled under his helmet. He dragged her towards the pile, then, letting her go, but keeping the gun to the back of her throat, he instructed her to pick up all the credits. His suspicions were correct. At the bottom of the pile, there was a small explosive device. Holding the gun to her temple, he took the credits, and dragged her to his speeder. "Let her go!" Tran said.

Horus jumped onto the speeder, then, pulled her on, for security that Tran didn't shoot or throw grenades at him. As he reached the gate, he threw her off the swoop bike, and sped through the gate, the sides of his bike scraping on the small opening. Tran expected him to go straight, and figured, with his superior speeder skills and speeder model, he could catch the villain. He jumped on his speeder, parked at the nearby Rebel base and gave chase. But Horus did not do as Tran expected. He swerved around the corner of the citadel, taking a cloak and hood from a compartment on his swoop.

He watched from the corner as Tran sped away, and he casually walked back through the citadel to his ship. When he was safely in his ship, he headed for Kashyyyk where he shaved his head. He then headed for Coruscant, where he dropped his armour off the side of a very tall building. He bought a new set of armour, and stopped shaving for a few days. He removed his fake eyepatch that he figured the girl would identify him by. He was a new man. He split the credits into six seperate bank accounts, so there would be no suspiciously large deposits. He scheduled himself in for surgery on his vocal cords, surgically changing his voice to a deep, boring tone.

It was the Perfect Crime.

A week had past since the event. Horus had changed dramatically. He had abandoned his Mandalorian heritage. He was an outcast. He trusted no one, he befriended no one, he spoke to no one. He had abandoned all his previous assignments, and worked on making himself a new name... The only person he seemed to be in contact with still, is Rico Miller.
