| I am truly sorry to say this folks, but this particular event will have to be post-poned due to being unable to produce the necessary resources in time. (People are busy, the Death Star is crazy-large and this event is going to be quite complicated, so we'll have to delay it until next week.) Instead, we will be doing something else that we hope that you'll enjoy just as much. Details'll be posted here afterwards. |

| The branches shadowed by the towering trees of Kashyyyk whipped past as a furry figure ran with inhuman speed, followed by blaster fire and hunters atop speeder bikes. In sheer desperation, the pacifist Wookiee activated a beacon he had not used since Order 66 - a call for help to any fellow Jedi that may be monitoring the channel. Unfortunately, the Empire had been watching the frequency closely and so had the Rebels, both picking up on the cry for help with vastly different intents.
The ensuing race to assist - or decimate - the exile had ignited a gigantic skirmish on the surface of Kashyyyk, the sound of explosions and blaster fire rang out from nearly every corner of the world. The Imperials were the first to reach the Wookiee, although greatly distracted by the continual Rebel assaults, they were unable to secure him. It took a great many blaster bolts to bring down the beast, which they then dragged back to Kessel.
Not ready to accept defeat yet, the Rebels launched a counter-attack in the form of infiltration - or so the plan had begun, unable to pass the prison planet's gates due to a tight lockdown. Never ready to back down, they launched themselves at the Empire anyways, fighting long and hard - only to discover the Wookiee had been already killed. However, the prisoners had been inspired by this show, charging at the landing bay for their freedom and heedlessly attackin' any guard in their pathway - allowin' the Rebels to plot their escape. Too late again it seemed, as Lord Vader himself had recieved word of this Jedi's capture and arrived on Kessel, just in time to stop them from having a clean get-away. At the cost of one Rebel hero's arm, they managed to escape certain death at the Vader's iron fist .. |
